ABOUT US

Math Science Buddy is a tutoring solution for grades K-12 students and student teachers to get help with homework assignments and test preparation in all subjects. These subjects include mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, english, social studies, college application essays and test preparation in SAT/ACT, AP and CBEST teacher's examination.

Our Math Science Buddy team includes tutors who are graduates of top tier academic institutions, including Stanford University. Everyone on our team has experience working with children and young adults and has a proven rapport with students.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I am Karen Kao, the founder. Over the years, I have enjoyed tutoring students in all grade levels, secondary to my professional career in the sciences. Now I’ve been motivated to turn tutoring into my full-time vocation because I find working with children gratifying.

My earlier experience spans a wide range of educational training from assisting K-12 students with their math, science studies, and SAT test preparation to teaching children and adults how to play piano and guitar from a beginner level.

I received a BS from Cornell University in communication sciences. At Touro College in Long Island, NY, I earned a master's degree in the sciences.
